The Range Rover Velar offers three exciting engines. The base powertrain is a P250 Ingenium 2.0L 4-cylinder turbocharged engine that gets up to 247 horsepower and 269 lb-ft of torque. The next options are both 3.0L V6 supercharged powertrains. First, there’s the P340, which can get up to 340 horsepower. The second configuration is the P380. It can produce up to 380 horsepower. Both V6 engines can generate up to 332 lb-ft of torque.
Each one of these engines works with an 8-speed automatic transmission and is capable of towing up to 5,291 pounds. To provide you with traction and keep you in control, 4-wheel drive is standard, as is the Terrain Response® system. It helps your SUV adapt to your driving conditions with selectable driving modes, such as:

An Electronic Air Suspension is also available to boost your ground clearance. It stands 9.9 inches above the ground and can safely drive through up to 25.6 inches of water.
Interior Dimensions & Design
The cabin of the Range Rover Velar features seating for up to five people, lots of cargo room, and a stylish, modern design. You’ll have a choice among fine upholsteries, such as Luxtec and seudecloth, perforated grained leather, and perforated Windsor leather.
There’s lots of room to stretch out with 40.3 inches of front legroom and 37.2 inches of rear legroom. For added comfort, there are power-adjustable front seats, heated and cooled front seats, and an available sliding panoramic roof.
Behind the cabin, you’ll have 34.4 cubic feet of cargo room. The standard 40/20/40 folding rear seats can help you load more with 70 cubic feet of space. Plus, you can add a powered gesture tailgate that makes packing up even easier.

The dashboard of the of the Ranger Rover Velar features two 10-inch touchscreen displays. Together, they make up the Touch Pro Duo infotainment system. The bottom screen controls your climate control system and other settings, while the top screen is compatible with your smartphone.
Using Bluetooth®, you’ll be able to make hands-free calls and stream music. It also works with both Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™, so you can access your phone’s apps through the system, too.
